DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN: The screw/bolt should be tightened to a degree where the stainless washer is slightly compressing the surface of the rubber washer material by no more than 1mm. Over tightening will cause the washer to bite deeply into the surface of the material causing it to rip. If this occurs, our warranty is void.
Use for wind sports such as wing foiling or kite foiling (other than in light wind) may reduce the lifespan of our foiling foot straps. We do not advise you use these for freestyle or jumping. These are designed for race; freefly and downwind.
To extend the life of our footstraps we recommend you store and transport your board with something solid (like a tennis ball) under the strap(s). This is to keep the straps in shape as much as possible and to secure them from damage when handling, moving or transporting the board out of the water.

Description
Version 2.0 – Internal polymer membrane inserted between RTM-22 outer skin. This provides superb strength to weight ratio that prevents ripping or tearing. Chamfered edges for extra comfort and to aid flexibility and durability. We’ve extended the length of our footstraps for use with thick wetsuit boots.
Cold/warm water refers to the use of wetsuit boots as opposed to water temperature. These are for use in colder climates in thick wetsuit boots.

SurfDek’s premium ultra-light foil footstraps are perfect for wing foiling, surf foiling, wake foiling and pump foiling. Our V-shaped double front straps are ergonomically angled for easy entrance with and a locked-in feel. This front V-strap allows you to switch feet when tacking, without needing to double-up on straps. This also provides a tactile reference for ideal foot positioning, easier takeoffs and fine-trimming of the foil.
These durable foot straps maintain their shape after standing on them. They are also very comfortable to lie on top of to paddle into waves for prone foiling use.
This material composition does not absorb any water which reduces weight in comparison to larger clunky neoprene/PVC counterparts.
