SurfDek hydrofoiling footstraps are made from RTM-22, making them superior to regular EVA footstraps. They make your riding more comfortable and give you full control over your board. These durable foot straps maintain their shape after standing on them, for example during tacking or gybing whilst wing or kite hydrofoiling. They are also very comfortable to lie on top of to paddle into waves for prone hydrofoiling use.

In 2022, Hannah Dines set the goal once again to compete internationally as a prone surfer. In this article Hannah talks about what para surfing is to her, the challenges of getting to the World championships and the experience of competing at Pismo beach last month. There’s a flourishing community of competitive adaptive athletes around the globe currently and it’s going to be very exciting to see what 2023 brings for them and the sport.

The BKSA Wavemasters 2022 was held in Brandon Bay, Ireland between 2nd-9th October 2022, which we proudly sponsored. Athletes from across the UK and Ireland gathered in the area to compete, chase the wind and ride waves. It was fantastic to see so many of our traction pads stomping around in the wild and the event trophies we provided went down a treat!

A great opportunity for French para surfers to compete against top international para surfers from many countries, including Great Britain and the United States.
